This week’s Q Restaurant of the Week:
Whether you are celebrating a friend’s birthday, a going away party, watching Monday Night Football, or just grabbing drinks for happy hour, the Glendon Bar & Kitchen has garnered a great reputation for providing yummy food, intoxicating libations, and friendly service. All that wrapped in a bow of impeccably designed décor and an inviting atmosphere!
Guests Compliments:
Guests are raving about the super attentive and friendly service staff. Everyone from the bartenders to the servers to the managers are welcoming, even the bus boys are enthusiastic and happy! The ambient lighting and combination of bar and restaurant seating, as well as, mini lounge seating upstairs all set a great tone.
Menu Favorites:
Favorites on the menu include: the Sweet Potato Fries served with a Cinnamon Pecan Aioli, An Apple Salad, Cajun Calamari, The Sliders, California Crab Cakes, and Fleur d Sel Carmel Cheesecake.
Complaints & Recommendations:
Parking is a notable grievance about this location, as with the majority of locations in Westwood. There are some lots in Westwood that are cost effective and some that aren’t, just be strategic in the ones you choose. In addition, people think that it is a little costly for some of the portion sizes. As with most restaurants, you can ask your server about the portion size prior to ordering the items of your choice. That way you won’t be hit with any surprises.
Tips:
Happy Hour is a great way to experience this restaurant. They have awesome food and drink specials, including $5.00 martinis and half off on some food items.
